Inter-generational activities with Brooklands Primary School

Last week we had the pleasure of having Two P7 classes from Brooklands Primary School join us over two days.   The theme was ‘Dig for Victory’ and ‘Make do and mend’. This month we concentrated on St Patrick. We secured funding from Belfast City Council which helped us to run projects in the month all St Patrick themed. ‘New Year, New Me’ was the theme this month. We wanted to concentrate on health and well-being. We achieved this by the following: Health Eating– Fruit Friday, Fruit Kebabs, Smoothies, Granola Bars Mindfulness – Button art, mandala, water colours with classical meditation music.
