This is by far our busiest December yet. 02/12/19 It was all kicked off by a new entertainer Damian who entertained our residents on the afternoon of the light switch on. Damian sang songs that the residents knew and they all enjoyed singing along with him. Then that evening we of course had our Christmas
We had our Harvest Service on Sunday which was kindly held by Rev Chris St John from St Marks, Dundela.
This month our residents enjoyed Musical Bingo, Moving and Grooving, Armchair Yoga, Request a tune, Active Communities ball games and bingo evenings. Our month started off with a bang with 4 outings organised in the space of just 2 weeks. We’d had a meeting with an organiser from Eastside Arts and decided to support their ‘Eastside Arts Festival 2019’ by bringing groups of residents to some of their planned events. We started off this month with a visit from Venture Kids summer scheme. There were 15 children and 4 leaders who came and spent the morning with our residents. The children had brought questionnaires with them that they wanted to ask our residents. They also drew portraits of them which caused a lot of laughter
